The Research Core requires multiple Fragments to be scanned from within the game world, using the 
Scanner, to unlock the Research Core (Blue) tech (science - PT VICTOR - T2). The tech can be researched using 
Research Core 380nm (Purple).
It can also be found in some crates throughout the map.

The Research Core 480nm (Blue) is used to unlock technologies from the research tree. It is the second research core found and craftable in the game and replaces the Research Core 380nm (Purple) as you progress up the tree.
Recipes[]
The Research Core 480nm (Blue) is used in one recipe only - the Research Core Green. This is the third research core found and craftable in the game and replaces the blue core as you progress further up the tree.
