Research

The Research Core 380nm (Purple) is used to unlock many introductory technologies, typically from the lower levels of the research tree and the lowest tiers of each production terminal from the research tree. It is the first research core found and craftable in the game.

Recipes

The Research Core 380nm (Purple) is used in one recipe only - the Research Core 480nm (Blue). This is the second research core found and craftable in the game and replaces the purple core as you progress further up the tree.
