Required to transfer selected items between Conveyor Belts, Machines and Storage Units
Filter Inserter's allow for the selective extraction/insertion of ingredients and are critical to working effectively with multi-output machines such as 
Threshers.

Unlocking[]
The Filter Inserter requires the Filter Inserter technology to be unlocked and researched before they can be constructed (logistics - PT LIMA - T4 - Filter Inserter). Unlocking the technology requires scanning 2 Filter Inserter Fragments with the 
Scanner. Fragments can first be found on Level 2 - Victor, at each of the insertion/extraction points of the freight elevator on this level. Researching the technology requires 3 x 
Research Core 380nm (Purple)'s.

Usage[]
Filter Inserter's have the same core functionality as other inserters, moving items from insertion/extraction slots on machines and containers and to/from conveyor belts. The work at a rate of 30 items/min, 50% higher than normal Inserter's, but require 10 kW of power to operate.
Critically, the Filter Inserter requires a target product for the inserter to be specified after placement by using "Inspect", otherwise the Filter Inserter will not work. The inserter will then only move this product.
This allows for directing products from multi-product machines such as Threshers to specific belts or storage containers.
