Usage[]
The
Container MKII can be used to store gathered materials and constructed items. It has an 20 (rows) x 8 (columns) storage grid, allowing it to store a maximum of 160 stacks of materials. Products can be dropped into the

Other information[]
Containers are often used as a "buffer" - allowing for the storage of excess materials to prevent machines from stalling from over-production but also for the provision of additional materials should those machines stall due to missing materials or loss of power. In the latter case though, note that while
Containers don't require power (and nor do conveyors) all but the most basic
Inserters do require power as do most machines.
