Assembles parts and machines at twice the quantity of handcrafting. Requires electricity and selection of recipe.
The Assembler is the first machine for automating the construction of parts and machines either by hand-feeding or, for full automation, by using Inserters and Conveyors. It is also the first machine unlocked that requires electrical power to run. The Assembler produces double the output of all recipes for the same input resources, and within the same time, compared to handcrafting.

Unlocking[]
The Assembler first requires the Groundbreaker to scan two Assembler Fragments from the environment using the 
Scanner. This unlocks the Assembler technology in the Technology Tree (synthesis - PT LIMA - T4 - Electric Components). The Assembler technology requires 2 x 
Research Core 380nm (Purple)'s to unlock.

Usage[]
The Assembler can craft all materials and machines that can be hand crafted with a key benefit of producing double the products for the same number of initial Ingredients in the same time span. This makes use of automated assemblers superior to handcrafting and vital to building an efficient factory. Further, the Assembler can be upgraded via the Technology tree to increase its production speed. This produces more end product per minute
